What is a paint party?

It’s a fun social painting event where you create your own masterpiece to take home. Your instructor will guide you through a featured painting with step-by-step instructions. Perfect for newbies. You can follow as closely or loosely as you like. We provide ALL the materials, set-up and clean up (that’s right! No clean up!).

And don’t forget the free LOLLY BAR and FIZZY BAR!! Enjoy our delicious assortment of lollies and refresh yourself with fizzy drinks.

You just rock up, treat yourself with yummy goodies and have fun painting.

Paint Party FAQ

Paint parties are all about having heaps of fun in a chill atmosphere. When you first arrive at the venue you will check in with our friendly staff. Then you can head over to the Fizzy & Lolly Bar and grab yourself some yummy goodies. Then find a seat, pop on your apron, chat and get comfy. We provide you with everything you need to paint and your instructor will take everyone through the featured painting step-by-step. No experience needed! Your instructor will walk around offering advice and encouragement. After two hours of painting, nibbles, drinking and laughing; you will have a completed your painting while having a blast. You can now proudly take home your masterpiece. We also take photos throughout the party and a group photo at the end which we post to our Facebook page. PLUS-no cleaning! We take care of all of that.
We recommend arriving about 15mins early to check in, grab goodies from the Lolly & Fizzy Bar, and get ready to have fun! E.g. if the party starts at 6.30pm, arrive around 6.15pm.
Yourself! All painting materials are provided.

We provide aprons but we recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on, just in case! Although acrylic paint is water-soluble, it’s tough to remove once it dries completely.
Everyone is welcome! Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a paying and participating adult. Thank you.
Nope, just bring the email confirmation on your phone or have the details noted down. We will check you in when you first arrive so it’s easier if you have those details handy when you arrive. Having the email confirmation printed just makes check in much faster.
Nope! You are free to change up the colours, add things or paint something completely different to your instructor. We encourage you to express your own unique style.

Sorry, unfortunately no-shows will not be rescheduled. All tickets sold are non-refundable. You agree to these conditions when a purchase is made. Please check all details are correct at the time of purchase. Reschedules/refunds will be offered if NZ is under Covid19 Lockdown Level 3 or above.
Depending on the venue the event is held at, there may be alcohol available to be purchased from the venue (separate to Stardew Events). If alcohol is unavailable there will be other FREE refreshments on offer. No BYO of alcohol please. We also recommend supporting other local businesses by having food/drinks before or after the event.
We aim to ensure your safety at all of our events. Precautions that will be taken... -We will have contact tracing measures in place at the entrance for signing in. -Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance. -We will be cleaning and disinfecting all equipment and the area; e.g. brushes, easels, water cups, tables, door handles etc. -Instructors will abide by social distancing measures and keep the required distance where we can. -Seating together with your bubble. -If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
